Former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams waltzed into our Los Angeles studio with a demeanor just as sweet as her voice and a personality bigger than you'd expect from the former gospel singer/less assuming member of DC. She admits that people often make assumptions about her personality and frequently attempt to categorize her as the wholesome girl that only sings gospel when not performing alongside Kelly Rowland and Beyonce Knowles. Williams' new record will surely prove the critics and naysayers wrong. The record, aptly titled 'Unexpected,' features the singer's distinct vocals over disco beats as Williams sings of partying 'til the wee hours of the morning on the first single 'We Break the Dawn' and welcoming pain and danger on the pop-dance track 'Hello Heartbreak.' Fans of the singer's smoother side will instantly fall in love with the soulful ballad 'The Greatest,' an anthem about discovering that the perfect love is sometimes right in front of your face. Williams displays her many sides in our studio as she performs some of her favorites 'Unexpected' tracks. Buy 'Unexpected' on iTunes.
