50 Cent has joined the cast of a new hard-hitting British gangster movie titled 'Dead Man Running.' Set in London, 50 will play a ruthless loan shark who seeks $150,000 from an ex-con who is given 24 hours to pay or become "a dead man running". The film has the backing of soccer players Rio Ferdinand of Manchester United and Ashley Cole from Chelsea FC, who are claiming executive producer credits.
50 Cent made his acting debut in 2005 in his semi-autobiographical film, 'Get Rich or Die Tryin',' and recently starred in the high profile movie, 'Righteous Kill,' alongside Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. He also has another new movie (which he stars in, produced and directed) and a new album, both titled 'Before I Self Destruct. The album was originally set to be released on Dec. 9 but will now hit shelves in February 2009.
