In another bizarre twist, rapper DMX's legal woes continue to mount as he was arrested today in Miami Beach at producer Scott Storch's house. This arrest comes after Arizona police offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to his capture. Despite reports to the contrary from his lawyer Bradford Cohen, who claimed he was in a rehab facility, X was apprehended today at the private residence on Palm Island.
"This guy is a major annoyance to the criminal justice system," Maricopa County Sherriff Joe Arpaio said earlier toady. "But we will track him down, and he will face a different kind of music in a court of law."
A bench warrant was issued for his arrest after the rapper failed to appear in court on December 5. He faces drug possession, identity theft, and animal cruelty charges. Ironically Scott Storch has also had his share of legal trouble, earlier this year a warrant was issued for his arrest for failure to pay child support.
