Brandy Faces Second Lawsuit for Deadly Crash

The multi-car pileup involving R&B singer Brandy continues to haunt her. Donald Lite, a man hurt during the accident is suing both Brandy and the deceased driver Awatef Aboudihaj for personal injury and negligence.

In a document filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Dec. 8, Donald Lite alleges he sustained "serious and permanent injuries" because Brandy and Awatef Aboudihaj were traveling at an excessive speed resulting in failure to maintain a safe distance from each other.

On December 30, 2006, Brandy was driving her 2007 Land Rover when she collided with a vehicle driven by the 38-year-old Aboudihaj, a wife and mother of two. Brandy's vehicle smashed into a 1989 Toyota Tercel driven by the 82-year-old Lite, while a fourth car broadsided Aboudihaj, who died the following day as the result of major blunt force trauma.

Los Angeles prosecutors did not bring a criminal case against Brandy due to lack of evidence. But Lite has decided to press the matter in civil court seeking unspecified damages for pain and suffering as well as the cost of medical care and loss of wages, among other claims. There's been no word on when the case will go to trial.

Again what does Obama have to do with this story? He is not even in office yet and he is the blame for every issue African American related. What nonsense and closed minded ignorance is that? Stick to the topic at hand. Duh.......

Hmm the accident happened in 2006 and it is now 2008. If they were really concerned about lost wages they would have sued earlier.

maybe it took them 3 years to file the lawsuit to build up more evidence as the old man got older the "minor" or not so minor injuries he recieved in the accident would most likely amplify due to his age. i dont know the details neither do most of ya'll in this post. i guarantee they contacted a lawyer almost immediatly and this is just his plan not at all the old mans or his family. the lawyer also gets paid a percentage so they probably had lawyers contacting the victim for the whole time.

I love how this comes to light almost to the day the statute of limitations runs out in CA. This is obviously a case of greed and not need. I wish I lived in CA and was a juror for this one!! The family should be ashamed of themselves. If the man is 82, by the time he gets through all of the trial, all the winnings if any will go to his family...hmm...sounds a little fishy doesn't it?

Of course the police did not file any charges against BRANDY (SHE IS IN SHOW BUSINESS )THE POLICE WOULD MUCH RATHER GIVE SUCH A PERSON A FREE PASS THEN THEY CAN CONTINUE DRIVING UNTIL THEY KILL SOMEONE.
