Pop sensation Rihanna has been tapped to headline the NFL's Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash along with Fall Out Boy, Lifehouse, and Enrique Iglesias. The two night event is set to take place at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida on Jan. 29 to kick off Super Bowl XLIII, which takes place on Feb. 1.The Super Bowl Bash will be hosted by actor Jerry O'Connell and the first concert is scheduled to air live on VH1 Thursday, Jan. 29 at 9 p.m. while the second will air on Telemundo the following day.
In related news, Rihanna is set to perform for the Recording Industry Assosciation of America's Presidental Inauguration Charity Ball on Jan. 20, to benefit Feeding America the nation?s largest hunger-relief organization. Along with Rihanna, other performers set to be in the nation's capitol on Inauguration night are Beyonce, T.I., Ludacris, T-Pain, Fantasia and more.
