Ghostface Killah recently set the Women's Movement back a few marks by stating that they are not equal to men. In a recent radio interview with Shade 45's Angela Yee, the Staten Island, NY, native discussed his upcoming album, before going off on a bit of a tangent and venturing into the subject of gender equality. "You [have to] grow," he said of his lyrical content. "Like what Mary J. Blige did, she had to grow. I can't stay 25 my whole life. I'm getting wiser. I have to stop limiting myself and start talking about other situations [like] why women are in the club every week, or [why they] take one dude home a month. That's 12 n----s in one year that she f---ed! For a female that's not nice."
Noting the double standard between men and women, Ghostface went on to say that men are allowed to be promiscuous so long as they are single. "It's still not nice for a female. That's what's wrong with our people they put our women equal to men. We're not equal. I was here first," Ghost said.
"I'm saying, for a woman that's supposed to have respect [she should] not just let anybody slide into her temple. It's even worse if she [has] kids. I don't think it's [necessary] for someone who has respect for themselves to take a different [man] home every month."
Continuing his rant, the rapper also spoke on former video model-turned-author Karrine Steffans, who chronicled her sexual escapades with several hip-hop artists in two best-selling books. "I would never wife that. She had so many d---s in her mouth, I would never wife that." He concluded the discussion by saying that he would not commit to a woman who has had several sexual partners. "I ain't never made one of those [a promiscuous woman] my partner. If I f---ed her, I just f---ed her."
Aside from his upcoming solo release, 'The Wizard of Poetry,' Ghostface is said to be working on the collaboration album with fellow Wu-Tang members Method Man and Raekwon.

Ok! To a certain degree I agree with Ghostface. My grandmother always told the girls in my family to keep your skirt down and your legs crossed!!!
It is sooooo inapporiate to screw every guy you come across. But the same can be said of men, why do they get a pass sticking their dicks in anything that spreads their legs or open their mouths....that shit is nasty to! Men & women should both keep in mind that our bodies are temples and not to be shared with everyone...simply because you dig them.

I listened to the interview and it didn't sound nearly as bad as Tracey Ford is making it sound. Ms. Tracey failed to mentioned that most of these quotes came from a conversation with Angela Yee & Brooke Hogan and they all were in agreeance that women shouldn't bring a different guy home every night, weekend, month, whateva.....that the woman's body is a temple and it should be guarded as such.....It was more like a regular converstion than what's written in this article. I wonder why Tracey decided to put this slant on it instead of agreeing that women should cherish their bodies & stop with the video vixen, over-sexed, nymph stereotype young women are forced to emulate? Nonetheless I hope it will spike Ghost's album sales...going to see him, Red, & Meth @ HOB and I'm sure it'll be the bomb with hoes lined up at the back door & everything!!!

Last time I checked my bible, the word of God said that ALL inclusive man/woman that our bodies are a temple that the Holy Spirit dwells in. It also states that all who fornicate is bound for hell expect they repent and turn from sin. It never mentioned that only woman were going to hell for fornicating ...you do know that sex before marriage is just that man or woman. Having sex without being married they are BOTH in violation of God's word. And His word is the final say and no one else. So ghost face whatever is sort of a hypocrite, putting people down for comitting the same crime that he is committing. Both scenarios are punishable by death. Further more if he feels that strongly about the subject, fool in order for you to sleep around like you do it would take a promiscuous female the very females that you claim to despise. Wake up women.. don't sell your soul to the devil. I personally don't agree that a women should sleep around but in the same respect neither condoned for a man either.

I agree and disagree with Ghost, and not becuase I am a fan.
I agree on the stance that women are disrespecting themselves in acting promiscuous; therefore, they shall be treated accordingly.
However, where I disagree is-what makes a man better when he acts in the same manner?
Doesnt a man need a woman to have relations with? No matter who you are, male/female, you should always treat your body (temple) with the utmost respect, cleanliness and dignity.
I too, have a lack of respect for those women who have multiple partners as much as men. I would never date a man who was a street whore. Then again, we fail as a society to look at their lack of esteem, in which they are using sex as a way to fulfill emotional voids. I also do not agree on the Adam/Eve, Adam was here first theory.
Thats another argument for another day.
We all have our own opinions and to each his own. It is my hopes that some of his female fans that do not act in an appropriate manner will take this as a smack in the face and change their actions.

I can agree to an extent. we are not equal in strengths is true enough, but for this man to say that.... he must believe that white is better than black,...skinny is better than fat (not obese)...etc. you can't classify a person by anything other than the life they lead and the involvement that they have with life. It is easy to use false emotions and have sex but to love someone is unconditional... you make the best of the life that is left....you can't change the past but once you reach certain levels of maturity you understand. For him to say he wouldn't wife a woman who has done this or that... leaves a lot of room for error....he will never get the truth no matter how the situation is greeted! His mother isn't beneath his father!!!??... What is crazy is people who walk outside usually wear both shoes and we choose the shoes we wear or we keep the ones that are so comfortable....it is too many people in the world...most motives don't involve the other person because like this man said "I just fukked her", that's it? Do you know what that does to a woman that wants you to be more intrested in the reason behind it than a few mins of satisfaction? How can a man say that a woman is not equal when we are what makes a balance in life. If we are not equal than you either don't exist or you will try to procreate with something that can't bring you life. I agree with him to a certain extent. No woman should ever put herself out there like that. Taking Tom,Dick and Harry to bed isnt good physicall, mentally, or emotionally. But what gets me is that it always seems like a double standard when it comes to men and women. Its okay for men to sleep with Sally, Sue, and a Mary, but when a woman sleeps with alot of men she's a hoe. He said he would never make a promiscuous woman his partner, "If I f#@#$ her. I agree that EVERYONE'S BODY is a temple. I don't agree with women sleeping with everyone, but I also don't agree with men doing it either. I feel that if that's what you want to do, then you should at the least be safe about it. And for the part about not being with the women just sleeping with them, HOW would he know if the woman that he DOES choose to be with, has been with alot of people or not. Women and Men do lie, and especially if you don't know anything about them, then you really don't know what they did. I was a very pretty girl in high school that had a man, and almost every guy made up some kind of LAME ass story about me and them, yet I didn't even know these people. I had the same dude for 5 years and that was it. I couldn't stop the guys from making up stuff, and there are plenty of guys who still do! They lie on their JUNK all the time. And that's great if he lived the life he is trying to preach about. And Paris and Kim are some of the most famous people around, due to their sex tapes, and they have men beating down there door. Pratice what you preach, and until then, don't preach it, because you can't live it!!!!!!!

Ghost is on point...Women and men have different functions in life and everything doesnt apply to everyone. No, a man shouldnt lay with every woman he can but you cant put a womans standard on a man. Metaphorically speaking man is like a spoon meant to stir and give direction and woman is a cup holding the most precious substance. To clean a dirty spoon is easy but to clean a dirty cup that now holds a dirty substance isnt so easy. The woman has the most important function in life and that is why her Man must provide and protect. I love it!!!!!!! The spoon & cup analogy was weird, but good. It'd be nice if men considered that a small speck of dirt on his "spoon" can tant a pure cup of water with the slightest contact. And I don't care how clean that spoon looks....if I know its been spooning up crap, I ate touching it.....

The eye opener in Ghost's little rant is #1 - he is ignorant...talented rapper, but ignorant. Smart Dumb Cat like he said on MTV once. However, he made a good point.....again an ignorant, one-sided argument, but still a good point. #2 - yes, he probably does have a crack/coke/pill/drug/sex addiction....lol,...sad, but true; most of the Wu-Tang / "Hollywood" does or has at one point in time. #3 - The "If you can't beat 'em; join 'em" strategy backfires....b/c you then become an imposter, still never gaining the respect or staus of those you envy & emulate. Women, if we are tired of those men who stick everything in site, cheat on us, and only go for the big booty hoes, then make the necessary changes within yourself & start looking for a different type of man. The one in the next cubicle @ the grocery store, church or @ the bookstore. We do have a choice, so choose differently. Not that every man is marriage material, but there is a happy medium & much to be appreciated in long-term relationships versus one-night stands, booty-calls, hook-ups, & friends w/ benefits. You actually get to know how to please one another and the sex gets better. Don't get it twisted, women are sexual beings, we love sex even more than men who go thru their hot periods early, but by the time they are burnt out at 35, 40, 50, etc....we are just hitting our prime! The answer is not to become frigid, missionary style only prudes. Just learn how to appreciate your feminie powers & believe that you are so much more than what's being portrayed. When you find a good guy, shit go all out! No inhibitions! Buy your outfits, learn to twerk, watch uncut, download some "let yo knees touch yo elbows" & have fun with your man. Just don't let that be all you live for.

Oh yea....If you listen closely to Ghost's music every album has a song talking about some girl that he loved & did this and that for, who cheated on him. He is constantly revealing that he's been hurt. Ladies I know we get hurt all the time, but men can;t take it. They are physically strong, but emotionally they can't handle what we are forced to deal with. Again, not equal, good, or bad;ust different. My homegirls & I think he probably ain't packing all that much or not really good in bed if he keeps keeping messed over like that cause yall know if its good we're trying to lock it down.....lol..... All his anger & frustration reveals that underneath his hard persona, he's a broken hearted little boy whose decided all women are hoes that he can't trust....& the only woman he loves is his Momma....
