Kanye West Rushes Stage at VMAs, Disses Taylor Swift's Win

I think it's safe to say award shows should increase security when Kanye West is around. A man of many words and even more temper tantrums, Kanye rushed the stage while Taylor Swift accepted the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female video for her single 'You Belong With Me.'

The producer/rapper grabbed the microphone from the 19-year-old to express his discontent with MTV's decision to honor Swift over R&B diva Beyonce. "Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. Of all time!," Kanye proclaimed as Swift stood on stage seemingly shocked. Beyonce was also visibly confused by the rant.

Swift's video beat out Beyonce's 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),' Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face,' Katy Perry's 'Hot n Cold,' Pink's 'So What' and Kelly Clarkson's 'My Life Would Suck Without You.'

This isn't the first time Kanye has flipped out at an award show. Yeezy stormed the stage at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards when he failed to take home Best Video for 'Touch the Sky.'

What Kayne did to Taylor Swift was unsophisticated, unprofessional, and immature. He had a right to his opinion but there is a time and place for everything.

This had nothing to do with black OR white people. It had to do with respect --respecting those who won and not disrupting the event. Kanye has some issues and hopefully he will take care of them, and it was good that he did want to talk on Jay (although his 'apology' really made no sense). Kanye was entitled to his opinion.... in his head while the actually winner got to give her thanks. AND she's a teenage girl... I doubt he would have tried that with Pink. Also... Je ne comprende pas. You try to write in English but make no sense. It isn't a writing class but if you want to make an impact it might have better results if the readers could understand. Perhaps a French board where you can write in your own language? Also, the people here are entitled to their own opinions also --but I guess everyone who thinks 'haters' are picking on Kanye need to get a life. What he did was wrong no matter what color you are.

At the end, Kanye was wrong, not for saying that Beyonce deserved the award but for interrupting taylor in her moment so everybody got it. So all the comments that come after what i said before are voided.

lets be serious beyonce hasnt had more then 2 good songs since she was in destinys child. and who the fuck is kenye seriously. this category had nothing to do with him. and taylor became popular because she had talent and write every single one of her songs. beyonce cant even dress herself.

I really hope this dies down like today because people are really going way too overboard with this one! This is MTV and everyone is always saying how those award shows are nothing like the real award shows like the Grammy's or American Music Award Shows, but all of a sudden because of who Taylor Swift is this incident is has gone way too far! MTV shows are not that big of a deal and many people also agreed before this happened, which shows you how "DIVIDED" the world can become when "CERTAIN PEOPLE" in the media are talked about, which is totally ridicalous! There have been crazier that have happened on these types of shows and VH1 have displayed them for us all to see... you people are really blowing this one way overboard! Taylor has won awards on CMA a real award show, so she should've sucked it up and laughed about it or perhaps tried to upstage him, she could have easily said, "cant we all just get along!" Silly silly people!

Even if Beyonce did deserve the video, unless you are completely unaware of normal social situations, you should realize that what Kanye did was 100% out of line.
