I think it's safe to say award shows should increase security when Kanye West is around. A man of many words and even more temper tantrums, Kanye rushed the stage while Taylor Swift accepted the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female video for her single 'You Belong With Me.' The producer/rapper grabbed the microphone from the 19-year-old to express his discontent with MTV's decision to honor Swift over R&B diva Beyonce. "Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. Of all time!," Kanye proclaimed as Swift stood on stage seemingly shocked. Beyonce was also visibly confused by the rant.
Swift's video beat out Beyonce's 'Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),' Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face,' Katy Perry's 'Hot n Cold,' Pink's 'So What' and Kelly Clarkson's 'My Life Would Suck Without You.'
This isn't the first time Kanye has flipped out at an award show. Yeezy stormed the stage at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards when he failed to take home Best Video for 'Touch the Sky.'

This thug should be removed from the building and banned from the show for life. This is no different than a fan who runs out onto the field at a professional sporting event. Since they would be arrested and escorted out, so should kanye west!

Granted Kanye West is a talented individual but he could at least pretend to have some respect for other artists. If he has a problem with the VMA's then let him take it up with the correct people instead of being rude. Even if this was the first time there is no excuse for his behavior. I mean come on even Beyonce was shocked.

Why do they even invite or allow this scum bag to go to these shows, he should be banned from any music awards show ever again. What a scum bag. That was the most disturbing thing I have ever seen in my life and watched George Busch as president for 8 years. Taylor swift did not deserve to be interrupted like that and I'm so glad that at least Beyonce had the decency to give Taylor her moment.
