Rihanna has tapped Justin Timberlake as a producer for her 'Good Girl Gone Bad' follow-up. This isn't the first time the chart-topping artists have collaborated. Timberlake wrote and produced the 'Good Girl Gone Bad' track 'Rehab' for the Barbados beauty, and then appeared alongside Rihanna in the song's music video. Their work in the studio has also begun to fuel rumors that the couple are romantically involved. "In my opinion, she's got the world in the palm of her hand right now, based on her success with her last record," Timberlake told red-carpet reporters at the Emmy Awards. 'Good Girl Gone Bad' has sold more than two million copies since its 2007 release. "The stuff we've come up with in the studio, it's the next step for her," Timberlake continued. "It's a little more grown up. It's got some edge to it!"
Bringing even more edge to the R&B singer's fourth studio effort will be U.K. dance duo Chase & Status, who are also on board as producers. Other collaborators include Tyson Ritter of the All-American Rejects, Drake, Ne-Yo and Akon.
No official release date nor title have been confirmed, but Amazon's U.K. site lists a new album Rihanna album dropping via Mercury/Def Jam with a Nov. 16 release date. Play.com, another online music distributor based out of the U.K., lists a Nov. 23 release date.
