If you thought Kanye West only loved himself (and Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' video), you thought wrong, chicken is also on that list. The Chicago rapper was spotted coming out of a Los Angeles eatery and when asked if he chose to dine on chicken or fish, Yeezy jokingly expressed his love for foul."Well the way I came up with that decision was, I'm kind of hungry and I just ... um ... I think I wanted some chicken because I'm black -- [so] you know I like chicken a lot," he said. "I'm gonna' do a commercial for chicken for free."
Although he was most likely being facetious, this is his second "chicken-related incident" in the past few weeks. West recently made headlines for throwing a fit over not getting chicken during a surprise appearance at the "Common & Friends" benefit concert in Los Angeles.
"Why wasn't I offered chicken?" He was overheard complaining. "You want me to perform for free, [and] everyone is eating ... Why am I not eating?" Adding insult to injury West allegedly yelled at the waitress when she noted that he hadn't actually asked for anything to eat. Once served, onlookers revealed that he took only one bite of the chicken before throwing it out.
Since his outburst at the MTV Movie Awards, West is making good on his promise to take some off, canceling his tour with popstar Lady Gaga. Lets just hope that his break also includes not talking to the paparazzi so much, because he's not looking too good right now.

EXACTLY! Kanye's not an idiot. He was being sarcastic and his tongue and cheek comments are taken out of context just because we aren't there to hear the actual tone of voice.
He doesn't speak for the black race, he speaks for himself, and like some guy annoyed at questions while he's trying to eat, he gave a smark reply. You'd do the same thing in a high school cafeteria if you were being bothered.

This is how it seems to work... I am white, I was dating a blckman at my jod we were both in the middle of a divorce(neither of us had anything to do with each others divvorce)The company was majority black and hispanic- state run facility-but because I was white I was treated as a whore and made an outcast, now his exwife was dating a married hispanic-she was black- and he was also going thru a divorce and she was praises and made out to be a wonderful f**ken person. The raciest card only applies if it is done by "whitey" to blacky reverse dose not matter.

Truly I beleive Kanye is on a head on collision. With a bad decision. I ask has he really dealt with the sudden death of his mother? He is acting like a child left home alone for the first time. Out of control because there is no supervision. I lost my mother to a sudden heart attack and trust me it is not easy for everyone to get beyond it. I think the airport incident and the awrds show incident and now the two chicken episodes, are really precursors for much worse to come, if not addressed now. My prayers are with him
