Rihanna Barbed Wire Photo: Love It or Hate It?

Rihanna

With the release of her new single, 'Russian Roulette,' Rihanna has unveiled an edgy new image for herself. The song, from the singer's upcoming album 'Rated R,' ends with a gunshot, but even more controversial is the artwork that accompanies the single. Rihanna is pictured wrapped in barbed wire and gripping a chain, while blood drips from the song's title, which is directly underneath a shiny blade 'R' logo. All of this dark imagery is right in tune with the song's suicide-hinting lyrics, "So just pull the trigger." 'Rated R' will be released on Nov. 23, but in the meantime, let us know what you think of the photo's racy look.

rihanna is very inspirational i agree with nyberon1959 because she is talking about what's goin gon today and also that peopl eare commiting sucide and people leave her alone go ahead and let her find her way back to the way she was before instead of putting her now

ha ha, very funny. barbed wire and a bloody logo. she's not trying to be 'edgy', she's trying to copy old death metal-style album covers! even SLAYER gets more imaginative than she does with the blood. as for the rest of it, I can only say this: if she was any UGLIER she wouldn't be on the RADIO

I really hate the way she allows her body to be used and abused. It like she has no limits. She's a beautiful girl, trying to make it in the industry, but I'd really like to see OUR women refuse to be objectified so routinely.
