Kelis Delays Show to Avoid Nas

Kelis 'Bossy' singer Kelis boldly attacked PETA for critical statements they made about her choice of wardrobe, and has been extremely aggressive in her pursuit of child support payments from her former husband, Nas. Though the couple were pictured together just this past September, Kelis has allegedly turned shy when it comes to meeting her ex in public.

Gossip website Bossip.com claims that the two performed at the acclaimed Sundance Film Festival in Utah last week, with Nas playing at Harry O's, while Kelis followed John Legend, rocking the Film Lounge at House of Hype.

According to Bossip's source, Kelis did everything in her power to avoid Nas, delaying her performance until well after Nas finished his set, because "she didn't want to compete against her ex." The former hip-hop sweathearts have grown progressively more estranged as their battle over financial support has gone on. We hope they reach a reconciliation for their son's sake.

In the meantime, the two artists are more than likely to come head-to-head this spring when they both drop new albums. Nas' forthcoming album with reggae artist Damian Marley, 'Distant Relatives,' is scheduled to be released in April. Kelis is currently working on new material with a "futuristic disco sound" for her forthcoming album, 'Fleshtones,' which she says will see release via Interscope this spring.

Class A idiots. Makes no difference if they are
White, Black, or Magenta. They asked that to be
insulting, because if they REALLY wanted to know,
they could have simply looked it up. THEY ARE
ON A COMPUTER, RIGHT? The same amount of time it
took to type/post that dumb assed question, they could have used to Google the names. This may come as a huge surprise, but you actually CAN use a computer for more than viewing online porn. A computer can be a research tool. Yes, its true!!!

"Talented" and "rapper" don't belong in the same sentence unless its "rappers" talk while "talented" people play music in the background. we are all rappers-most of us just dont get paid for it

Who are these losers? Some nappy headed ho wearing fur and wanting her Baby Daddy to give her all of his hard earned coin because she laid on her back and birthed his (who knows for sure) kid? Lady, if u cant say it to her or any other "knappy headed ho's" face please do not post your oh-so-bold yet ignorant comments hiding behind the safety of your computer screen. plenty of people from every race do the same thing as she has, whether male or female, and no one calls them stringy haired or whatever kinda haired anything. why does her hair have to be knappy? have you ever met her face to face? ever touched her hair? i doubt it. also if you're gonna insult her regarding that situation at all "gold digger" would be a more appropriate one. though i guess "ho" is meant to be used cause she's black, which furthers the case for your own ignorance and juvenile assessment. please do yourself a favor, just grow up and shut up. its quite annoying
