Beyonce's 'Video Phone' Banned in Germany

While Beyonce wraps up the South American leg of her I Am... world tour, the songstress is catching some heat in Europe for her latest single, 'Video Phone,' which features Lady Gaga. Officials in Germany have issued an official ban against the video based on claims of copyright infringement from underwear brand, Triumph.

The company filed a lawsuit against Sony, alleging that in the video Beyonce dons an obvious copy of one of their original pieces created by designer Iskren Lozanov. The case was reviewed by Germany's 7th Civil Chamber of the Landgericht Munich, before the courts ruled in favor of Triumph. Sony attempted to fight the copyright infringement claim, explaining that Beyonce's costumes were inspired by Picasso designs, but their efforts were to no avail. Sony is now barred from distributing and airing 'Video Phone' in Germany.

Beyonce kicked off her South American tour in Brazil on Feb. 4.

yea beyonce is a little too much. she's too old to be showing all dat skin. she is not 21 and a size 3,5, or 7 anymore. dts jus too much for a married woman who claims she wants kids by her husband. if or when she has one, look at wat mommy did. like the shit is appropriate. too much ass shaking in every video, like really, your hot, nothing else to prove. oh, but DO NOT compare her to taylor swift, sweet girl, but i never knew her until kayne west put her on blast, funny shit, really. she shouldve embarrassed his black ass back. but beyonce banging while yall are hate'n. like, those who matter still think she the shit. obviously with winning the most grammys in one night. no black or white. kuddos for black history month. anywho, yea she looks trashy on this video, she could do better! HANDS DOWN, still love, love, love her though.

I personally am disappointed in Beyonce and I really don't "penetrate" her any more. Too much sexual inunendos and slackness. I remember the last cd she made with the original members of Destiny Child. I couldn't stop listening to "Bills". Now all she is doing is selling cheap sex. I feel bad for her that for money she has lost her self and her soul. I at one time even thought that she was a Christian girl like Michelle. Too bad, she let those handlers led her astray. As the good book says "The love of money is the root of all evil."

me personaly i thought if was hella sexy no one has tha right to degrade someone else just because of tha things that they do she is a very lovely young lady she is just progessing in her career a video does not lable u as anything its all about having fun u only live life once so live it to the fullest

I don't understand! There are always knock-off's of Red-Carpet designer clothing, within days of their being televised. Is there actually some type of copyright in Germany that we do not have here?

Beyonce has crossed over to the point of no return where she is simply caught up in the need to go above and beyond to maintain her fan base. But her real problem is her losing self esteem and thats why she needs her alter-ego to help compensate for that.She does need to get better video and writers and directors to steer her into a self respecting image. Oh sure, she will still sell albums but she will be viewed as a video slut who lost her way.
