Past hip-hop recipients of Doobie Awards include Snoop Dogg and Cypress Hill. This year's nominees for Best Hip-Hop Artist include Method Man and Redman, B-Real, Asher Roth, Kottonmouth Kings, and Kid Cudi. Four rap songs also made it into the Pot Song of the Year category -- Eminem's 'Must Be the Ganja', Kid Cudi's 'Day N Nite', Meth & Red's 'Dis Iz 4 All My Smokers,' and Asher Roth's 'Blunt Cruisin.'
The most reefer-friendly jam will be announced at the 2010 Doobie Awards on March 21 in Austin, Texas, which also coincides with this year's South By Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival.
