Lil Wayne has gone a little tech-heavy as he prepares for his upcoming prison bid at New York's Rikers Island correction facility. After two sentencing delays -- one due to dental surgery and the second due to a courthouse fire -- Weezy has found himself with enough free time to release several home videos for his fans.In a Ustream broadcast filmed at the dinner table on Friday (March 5), Lil Wayne decided to break some big news. "Shout out to my n---- Cory Gunz, about to be the newest member of the Young Money team," he said. Wayne kept it short and sweet, but a follow-up message confirming that the Bronx-bred Gunz was indeed going to be represented by Wayne's flourishing Young Money label soon appeared on Cash Money's Twitter account later that same day. "Shout Out to [Cory Gunz], if you was watching Wayne on Ustream you would know wat I mean!" the tweet read.
Cory Gunz is the son of Bronx rapper Peter Gunz. The up-and-coming rapper made the cut for XXL magazine's 2009 'Freshmen 10' MC list. Check out Wayne's announcement after the jump.
