An Indiana teenager has been arrested and charged as a prime suspect in the shooting that took place following a Waka Flocka Flame concert in Gary, Indiana on March 5.17-year-old Devontius Hutcherson is being charged for his role in the late night shooting, where eight teenage boys were wounded. Victims described a man wearing a red hat over dreadlocks that opened fire on a crowd of approximately 200 teens in the parking lot of the World of Skates rink in Gary. Eight victims -- who ranged in age from 14 to 18 -- were treated for non life-threatening gunshot wounds to the legs, stomach, wrist and back. Police officials have allegedly confiscated the weapon that was fired outside the skating rink and have explained that Hutcherson will face multiple felony charges from a prior shooting incident as well.
Hutcherson is being investigated for shooting and killing a 22-year-old man and wounding another, after they refused to provide him with $5 to attend a concert on Jan 19. He reportedly robbed both victims before shooting them. Hutcherson is currently being held without bail while police investigate all current charges.
