Allen Iverson Enters Rap Game Again With Ty Gracie

Though NBA star Allen Iverson's attempt to enter the rap game a decade ago as "Jewelz" was poorly received, the 76er is stepping to the line for another attempt.

Iverson has announced that he has signed veteran rapper Ty Gracie, who, like Iverson, hails from Virginia and has released several mixtapes over his 10-year career, working with artists from Young Jeezy and Snoop Dogg to Fat Joe, Jadakiss and 50 Cent.

Gracie claims that him and Iverson (recently depicted in the documentary 'No Crossover: The Trial of Allen Iverson') share similar backgrounds, due to their Virginia upbringing. Referring to his hometown of Newport News, Gracie says "People from Bad Newz have a different story to tell."

Gracie's story has been recorded in the form of his album, 'Allen Iverson presents Ty Gracie and Cru Thik- Misunderstood,' which is currently available on iTunes. No word as to whether A.I. received a guest feature.
