Anita Baker Flubs National Anthem at NBA Finals

Whether you're a Lakers or Celtics fan, most people would agree that one of the most painful moments of Game 4 of the NBA Finals was Anita Baker's performance of the National Anthem. The veteran R&B singer, known for her deep jazzy voice, was the butt of many jokes this morning (June 11) when radio personalities, bloggers and newspapers alike, harshly critiqued her performance citing that she "fell short of hitting the song's key notes." The 52-year-old singer, who hasn't released an album since 2004's 'My Everything' but is said to be working on a comeback, became a trending topic on Twitter after the disappointing performance.
