Im not a rap fan to say the least but snoop is an interesting guy......nice idea dog,nobody has ever tried to rent a whole country.

Millions of welfare(tax) dollars are used to purchase his "music". If he returns some of it back to the welfare population, that recyles a dollar that doesn't get ripped from my paycheck. Maybe he should rent East St Louis.

I don't know that Snoop has quite hit "legend" status yet, but I think he's just as cool as they come (and I'm NOT a rap fan), but I'm DEFINITELY a SNOOP fan.

The end of the last episode of HBO's "True Blood" was followed by a new video by Snoop about Sookie (I gather he's going to be playing a character on the show, too). I realize Snoop's usually ALL ABOUT HIMSELF and how big HE is, but that's his persona -- he's still funny as all heck, and good at it. Ice T used to be this all in-your-face rapper, and turned that into a pretty successful acting job and makes a great detective on "Law & Order: SVU," as well. Will Smith started out as this rapper, "Fresh Prince," and now he's like the biggest movie star in the world.

Snoop, on the other hand, has always been "just Snoop." He does other stuff, too, but he's STILL SNOOP, and he's cool as all get out. I don't buy his music, but when I hear him rap, I enjoy it, and if he COULD HAVE rented Lichtenstein, I'm sure whatever he did would have been PHENOMENAL -- music video, or whatever.

And for the record, 61.7 square miles (the size of that country) works out to only 10 x 6 miles... If you're doing a video, you could EASILY do a flyover in a plane or helicopter with HD cameras and capture THE ENTIRE COUNTRY, with the ENTIRE POPULATION holding up placards or something within the time frame of a music video -- and if he could afford to "rent" the country, I'm assuming he could afford to pay all the people to do whatever he needed, as well.

Maybe he did need it for a movie. Who knows? At any rate, I still think it's cool. Who ELSE do we know who's ever tried to RENT a country???

Snoops a legend n he can do whatever the hell he wants with his money he gives enough to charity who are you to tell him he has to give all of his money to ppl that have nothing to do with him. if you had that much money you would be having as much fun doing whatever the hell you wanted too so how bout you stop hatin n step your own games up and when you do im assuming that youll be poor the next day since your going to give all of your money away to charity. fyi ppl will still be poor including you after you give all your money away ass. and if i earned all of that money id spend it all on ME because its MINE!
