As the long delayed release date of Diddy's 'Last Train to Paris' inches closer, super producer Danja is revealing what listeners can expect and his experience working with the rap mogul. Danja who has worked with some of the biggest names in music divulged that despite Diddy's "type A" personality, in the studio he's much tamer. "When it comes to me heís very open minded," Danja told The BoomBox. "I did the 'Hello Good Morning' record for him and that's just a different style of record obviously, but he's open. He knows what he wants but he's very [willing] to try new things."
To create the sound he's described as "electro-hip-hop-soul funk" the Bad Boy Records founder commissioned the help of some of his hip-hop acquaintances including T.I., Swizz Beatz, Drake and Nicki Minaj to turn his vision into a musical reality. As such, according to Danja the final project is unlike anything we've heard before.
"It's energetic. It's emotional. As far as sonically and how he presents himself -- I just think it's an all around album that a lot of different people can relate to in different ways." After a lukewarm response to Diddy's two previous singles 'Angles' and 'Love Come Down,' the latest 'Hello Good Morning' seems to be doing the best, peaking at No. 9 on Billboard's Hot Rap Song charts. If all goes according to planned, 'Last Train to Paris,' will arrive in store September 20.
