T.I. fans are going to have to wait until September for his new album 'King Uncaged' to be released. Although originally slated to hit stores in August, the Atlanta rapper inked a new drop date which was revealed via an Amazon.com posting. Neither Tip nor his label has given a reason for the new date. However the 29-year-old had originally wanted his album to coincide with the August 27 release date of his new movie 'Takers,' which stars Paul Walker, Zoe Saldana, Hayden Christiansen, and singer Chris Brown."Some songs talk about my time in prison - how I was affected by that, the way I've grown from that, things I see now that I may have not seen then," T.I. said of the album in an interview. "Sometimes I talk about love, some songs I talk about life, some songs I talk about me being the shit on every level."
The album will be his sixth release, and first since getting out prison after serving a one year stint for federal gun possession charges. His latest single 'Got Your Back,' featuring Keri Hilson was released to iTunes June 1. 'King Uncaged,' hits stores September 28.
