"Beyoncé was really embarrassed because she only recently got her driver's license," revealed a source. In an effort to get out of the situation, the Texas native is said to have used her celebrity status to avoid receiving a ticket.
"She tried to charm that cop and told him she had no idea that texting while driving was against the law," said the insider. But it seems that being Beyoncé wasn't enough to keep her out of hot water. "He had no idea who she was. He just slapped her with the ticket, which was worth more than $100!"
Earlier this year it was reported that Beyoncé's husband, Jay-Z, gave her driving lessons to help her pass her road test, but looks like he may have forgotten to stress one important thing: texting while driving is against the law.

HAH!!!!! I am so glad to hear this, everyone should be treated the same and if she broke the law, well then she deserves to pay for it. Even though the fine she had to pay is nothing for her.

. Even Lindsay Lohan should be treated like acivilian instead of special treatment. I was falsely arrested a year ago and I was treated like acommon criminal,I didnt get any special services. My boyfriend thinks the same with me. He is eight years older than me, lol. We met online at agelessma te .c o m a nice and free place for younger women and older men, or older women and younger men, to interact with each other. Maybe you wanna check out or tell your friends.

It doesn't matter if it's against the law or what. Common sense is what keeps you alive -- not only laws -- just stinking common sense. What part of stupid is this? Oh, right, Ron White said it best: "You can't fix stupid."It doesn't matter if it's against the law or what. Common sense is what keeps you alive -- not only laws -- just stinking common sense. The best way to stop this texting while driving is make it a $3,000 fine and you don't get your car back until you pay it. When word gets out among the teens of how much it cost to text while driving it would come to a halt. Besides the government could use the money....hahaha.BTW,I'm a doctor,26 ,rich but still single. It's hard to get a boyfriend in my town ,most of them like my money more than like me.I just want to find my true love.so i uploaded my hot photos on seeking bbw.co m under the name of hot561.a nice club to seek big beautiful women.if you boys see this comment,i hope you will check my photos out there.maybe you are the one who i'm looking for!!

DAMN !!SHES GOT A WHOLE 6 1/2 MNTHS OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE SHE CAN RELY ON ALREADY!!! GOOD LUCK ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT LIVE OUT THERE!!

the fine might be small, but I'm willing to bet she'll do it again and if you get caught more than once, the consequence goes up.
Thank God someone took her down a few notches. Using your celebrity to get out of a ticket. Klassy. I think this cop deserves a raise.
Poor Mz Thang. The cops don't even listen to her dribble music.

She's lucky it wasn't a wreck since most new drivers of any age usually have on average 3
wrecks within the first three years after getting a license. At least she didn't kill someone. I just gotta know-what or who the heck is so imortant that you can't either call them on the phone or pull over ( better still ) or ( a blast from the past; ) wait til you get somewhere and talk to them then!? She is old enough to remember when cars didn't have phones and if you had something to say you called before you left the house! Technology can be wonderful, but in the wrong hands-deadly. She lucked out; hope she doesn't pressure luck again!

I think it shows that all of us are susceptible to the urge to answer those seductive chimes and buzzes when we get an incoming text - even if its while we are operating a 5,000 pound piece of steel and glass.
I hope Beyonce uses this as an opportunity to speak out against texting and driving. With the popularity and respect she has earned from her fans, she could save lives on our highways with just one simple announcement. 6,000 deaths a year to text and drive...can we all say "no more!"

Its stupid for a celebrity to use their status as a famous person to not be treated like the rest of us.They pull that trick out only whenit conveniences them. If it were a paparazzi chasing them they dont want to recognized. Everyone treated equal when it comes to the law. I dont care what race, sex, religion or political standing is. Even Lindsay Lohan should be treated like acivilian instead of special treatment. I was falsely arrested a year ago and I was treated like acommon criminal,I didnt get any special services.

Why are these celebs even driving anyway?? The rich folk I know have a car service or a driver...
