The new tape follows-up 'Trap or Die 2,' which was released prior to Memorial Day earlier this year. Jeezy takes on a classic mixtape strategy throughout by rhyming over some of the hottest beats of the year. In addition to 'Death B4 Dishonor,' his freestyle over Ross' 'BMF,' the Snowman also shows the track's producer Lex Luger some love by going in over Waka Flocka's 'Hard in Da Paint' -- the other heavily-sampled beat of the year.
Other recent smashes that Jeezy tackles include Kanye West's 'Power' (which has turned into 'Powder') and the Clipse's coke rap anthem 'Popular Demand' from last year's 'Til The Casket Drops.' The tape is hosted by DJ Scream -- a mixtape DJ that does what his name implies over the entire thing.
'TM 103' is Jeezy's fourth studio album. As stated, the rapper has had a mighty generous year with two full-blown mixtapes to preview his in-store material. You can download '1,000 Grams' over here. Get those car stereos ready beforehand, though.
