According to reports, the dangerous dogs escaped Joc's property through a gate, and subsequently attacked a neighbor's dog (the breed has not been specified), which was left injured, but is expected to survive.
Joc's pit bulls were secured by electric collars, which reportedly malfunctioned, allowing them to run freely through the neighborhood. The 'It's Goin' Down' rapper quickly apologized for the attack, and offered to pay for the owner of the wounded dog's medical expenses. Additionally, Joc was cited for the incident by the police, and will have to pay an undisclosed fine.
In other news, Joc recently announced that he has left longtime label Bad Boy, and will be bringing his Swagg Team brand to Polo Grounds/RCA.
"It is my pleasure and honor to announce my affiliation and new partnership with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Music Group and Battery/Jive Records," Yung Joc explained. "Now I can actually work and not wonder if I'm going to be held back from building my own brand as well as the Swagg Team brand. I'm very excited to work with this team."
