Jay-Z Partners with Yankees for Co-Branded Merch

Jay-Z may have made the Yankees hat more famous than a Yankee can, but now, he's getting a piece of the action. The 'Empire State of Mind' emcee has teamed up with his hometown baseball team to create co-branded clothing -- including baseball caps, hoodies and t-shirts that feature both Yankees and Jay-Z logos.

The merch, which will be sold exclusively at Yankee Stadium beginning next week, is intended to promote and commemorate Jay-Z and Eminem's upcoming double-bill performance, the first concert to take place at the new Yankees Stadium. The specially branded clothing will be sold at the stadium from August 30 to September 14, giving fans a small window period to get their hands on these collectibles.

Hov announced his 'Home and Home' mini-tour with Eminem earlier this May, when the 'Renegade' pair paid a visit to Detroit's Comerica Park to announce the gigs. The high profile concerts will first take place at Comerica on September 2 and 3 with Eminem headlining the show, and will later move to Yankee Stadium on September 13 and 14 where Jay will take headlining duties.

Em and Jay have collaborated on a few other business adventures this year, teaming up to release a special Renegade Edition of the 'DJ Hero' video game. They most recently performed with one another on 'The Late Show With David Letterman.'

"Z" stands for the amount of naps Jay can take as he now has more money than God.
