Brandy Joins Season 11 of 'Dancing With the Stars'

Brandy is putting on her dancing shoes for the 11th season of ABC's hit talent show 'Dancing With the Stars.' The Grammy winner will samba and waltz against other celebrity contestants that include singer Michael Bolton, former basketball player Rick Fox, and Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

Brandy's entertainment background may work to her advantage. Last season Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, danced her way to a disco ball trophy despite opposition from some who felt that her performance and dancing skills put her ahead of the other contestants.

In recent years the Brandy has been branching out back into television instead of merely staying in the music box. She and her brother Ray-J star in the VH1 reality show 'A Family Business,' which was recently picked up for a second season.

The new season of 'Dancing With the Stars' premieres Monday, September 20 on ABC.
