Chris Brown Ditches R&B on 'Yeah 3x'

Chris Brown was noticeably absent from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, reportedly sulking in a New York City night club while his ex Rihanna stole the show with Eminem. But that doesn't mean Breezy has been having a slow week. Apart from his recent comeback to the charts with Tyga on 'Deuces,' Brown has unleashed the new jam 'Yeah 3x' (aka 'Yeah Yeah Yeah.')

The track premiered on radio this week and while 'Deuces' was a slow, sultry R&B burner that bashed a love interest, 'Yeah 3x' is a club-friendly track that praises the object of Brown's affection. The song, a return to pop for Brown, will reportedly land on his upcoming fourth album.

Sounds like Chris is riding on that dance pop trend that people like Lady Gaga, Jason Derulo and Taio Cruz are doing. It's a good dance club track, heavy on the keyboards. He even gives those artists a run for their money. I hope it ends up on his fourth album!

Everyone I know hated the VMA this year.It was boring. Especially Rihanna's solo part in the Eminem Song. She was so terrible she couldn't sing the song well at all.
