During an interview with Richmond's WCDX 92.1, Wiz revealed his hopes to bring Harlem representative Cam'ron onboard his forthcoming untitled album, to be released on Atlantic Records. "I'm trying to get Cam'ron on the album," Wiz says. Besides Cam being his first choice, Wiz also went on to disclose the other emcees filling up his wish list. "I wanna get 8Mall and MJG on the album. I wanna get Devin the Dude ... Snoop of course. And if anything else happens, it's just gonna be a classic collaboration that nobody would even expect."
A devout Killa Cam fan, Khalifa admitted that he was the brainchild behind the Twitter Trending Topic #camronsays, which popped up on the social networking site several months ago. "A lot of people don't know I started that," he admits. "Cam'ron's my man, yo. I started that, I did. Shout out to Killa."
Currently, Wiz is in the midst of his Waken Baken tour, promoting his newest single, 'Black and Yellow.' The rapper feels confident in the way the project has been both received and pushed by label execs at Atlantic. "It's been awesome just working with all the people over there," he says. "They completely understand my movement and what I'm doing. With 'Black and Yellow,' the single just how that worked. Me pushing it to them and them really going hard with it. It's a great marriage that we got going on. It's definitely new energy and it's a lot of motivation for the project."
