LL Cool J Shares His Michael Jackson Memories

LL Cool J has worked with some of the biggest names in music throughout his career, but perhaps none bigger than the King of Pop himself. During an interview on 'Lopez Tonight,' LL waxed notalgic about his experience recording with Michael Jackson on a few songs that never ended up seeing the light of day.

"One time we was in the studio and I said, 'Mike, in the 'Smooth Criminal' [video], how'd you lean forward like that?'" he told host George Lopez, before adopting a faux-MJ voice. "We had a Swami come in ... he did a ritual and he leaned forward, and we all leaned forward together," the pop icon responded. "I was like, 'Really?' He was like, 'No, silly!'"

Another incident between the two got big laughs from the audience. "One time I said, 'Mike, I gotta pass gas, I gotta fart,'" LL admitted. "He said, 'Well go ahead then!'" If the story is to be believed, Michael even cracked up after LL obliged.

Though his stories were light-hearted, LL also paid his respect to the late entertainer. "Working with Michael was the most amazing part of my life. I respect him so much, love him so much."
