The new track features rhymes from RZA and Kobra Khan, as well as singing from Justin Nozuka and a guitar part from Finger Eleven strummer James Black. It's the first in a "new tradition" where RZA will post a new track and thought each week.
"I dedicate the song 'Gone' to my friend Sally Menke and it's my gift to her memory," wrote the RZA when posting the track. "I feel music is the best gift I can give and I'm giving it away to Wu-Disciples for free in her name. Who ever like the song can send a blessing of positive energy to Sally's family and her legacy. Peace."
In addition, RZA posted a quote from Henry Miller as his thought for the week: "Of course you don't die. Nobody dies. Death doesn't exist. You only reach a new level of vision, a new realm of consciousness, a new unknown world."
