Ghostface Killah is on a recording hot streak. Fresh off the release of his group album 'Wu-Massacre' with Method Man and Raekwon, the Wu-Tang Clan member is ready to follow up the joint LP with his solo ninth record.

"New Album 'The Apollo Kids' Dropping December 14th!" tweeted the Staten Island native. "APOLLO KIDS LIVE TO SPIT THE REAL! December 14th, Cop That!" The LP is named after a seminal cut from his 2000 offering 'Supreme Clientele,' with the track featuring his consistent partner in rhyme Raekwon and production from Hassan. The original track boasted a sample from the late Solomon Burke's 'Cool Breeze.'

'Wu-Massacre,' released earlier this March, was met with rave reviews and bowed at No.12 on the Billboard 200. Ghostface's last solo LP, was the R&B-heavy 'Ghostini: Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City.' Released in September 2009, the album sold more than 50,000 copies to date.
