Young Buck Suing the IRS for August Raid

Young Buck is not going to take his recent financial lying down. According to reports, the Nashville rapper is suing the IRS over a raid of his home back in August. The feds (acting on behalf of the Internal Revenue Service) raided the former G-Unit soldier's Nashville home in an attempt to levy his belongings to pay off his $300,000 tax debt. The federal agents seized recording equipment, furniture and jewelry.

Initially, Buck didn't argue with raid and admitted wrongdoing to TMZ. "This IRS situation came about because I trusted accountants, lawyers, and managers to handle my business for me while I focused on making music," Buck told TMZ. "From now on, I am going to stay on top of my own business."

But, according to Nashville's local NBC affiliate, Buck is rapping another tune and suing the IRS. Buck's belongings were to scheduled to be auctioned off yesterday (Oct. 28), but the auction was called off by the government agency. Buck's lawsuit claims the raid prevented him from being able to make money to pay off his large debt. We're assuming the rapper's lawsuit has something to do with the raid leaving him without recording equipment, this making it hard for him to work on an album.

On a positive note, Buck is set to release the sequel to his 2009 mixtape 'Back on My Buck S---' at midnight on Halloween (Oct. 31). The 'tape, 'Back on My Buck S--- 2,' hosted by Sirius' HoodRich host DJ Scream and Southern Smoke's DJ Smallz, features production by Drumma Boy and will be available for download at therealyoungbuck.com.

the IRS actsd like a government of it's own and when they are wrong they admit no wrong nor do they make the person "whole" again under the law. The IRS should be forced to take people to regular court and not special tax courts. We should go to a straight ten percent earnings tax not matter where the earnigs come from and disband the IRS except for a small group to audit taxes under teh new system. The agency would be one tenth of it's size now and the taxpayer would be money ahead.

It's an outdated, costly and corrupt system any economist worth his salt will tell you that. Dump it and give them jobs monitoring gov't spending and contracts or checking cargo at one of our poorly guarded ports.

I understand why some people feel the need to sue the IRS, because they screw over countless numbers of Americans. But this guy was not one of them, if he would have paid like us common Americans, he wouldn't be in this mess. You should never trust anyone else with your finances except yourself. He's an idiot for doing so, but of course since he is rich and famous, he'll get everything handed to him like every other celebrity.

Hi Bunnywheels

Does the IRS make a special effort to go after the descendants of slaves? Sure looks that way to me and yet Black people have never ever received reparations-everybody else has-the Indians, the Jews, the Japanese all have received reparations. And now, I shall sit and wait for the hate-bring it on America!
You put us out in the cold-been stealing our land and resources every since - I could go on forever but what's the use?

He had to d-i-c-k around the IRS a very long time for them to committ a "raid." That's almost the last resort to getting the back taxes besides inprisonment of the tax evader.

The IRS could make it a lot easier on everyone by just taking what they need every check instead of making everyone file...what is so screwed up about the whole system..is that there are over the border people supporting their people and they get the SS numbers..and everything...dont speak english..and have tons of kids so the single people who work their butts off to make ends meet end up paying for the baby factories...The USA system is soooooo screwed up now...no wonder we are the laughing stock of the world....what a joke we have become...

Don't forget to charge them for your legal expenses. You and I both know that the IRS hould be going after the illegal criminals that don't pay any taxes and get everything from the legal lawabiding American taxpayers. han the senior citizens that worked for thier entire life and paid thier propertytaxes and all the other taxes for 20-50 years and now they don't even qualify for a cost of living raise like all of the liberal democrat congress just gave themselves.. Thier excuse was that the government needed the money to feed and house and provide free medical care and free education in thier own language for all the illegal criminals that broke into the USA from other countries...
