Shadrach Winstead filed a lawsuit in New Jersey district court this week that claims 50 "infringed the copyright by publishing and selling an audio visual work (a movie released in DVD format), coupled with an audio recording ("recordings")." Both Winstead and 50 Cent released their projects in November of 2009, but Winstead's legal documents allege that the content and word choice is identical "in many cases." Winstead is suing for undisclosed damages and profits from the sales of 'Before I Self-Destruct.'
In other 50 Cent news, the rapper made an appearance in the bedroom of Internet sensation Keenan Cahill. The 15-year-old has collected millions of YouTube views for his homemade lip sync videos to hits, like Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' and Usher's 'DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love Again.' Cahill took on Jeremih's 'Down on Me' for his most recent taping, which features 50 Cent on the original version, and, well in Cahill's room too. Check it out below.
