Producer Claims Michael Jackson's Death Was a Hoax

Michael Jackson may have passed away over a year ago, but super producer Teddy Riley believes the King of Pop is still with us. The musician, best known as a member of Guy and Blackstreet, took to his Twitter account to share his conspiracy theory with the world, claiming that MJ faked his own death and will return a few years down the line.

"If people can think Elvis is still alive why the F--- I cant [sic] think Michael is still alive," tweeted Riley, who produced a few cuts off MJ's upcoming album 'Michael.' "I don't care about a check and I know they are all watching. Truth is truth and I'm gonna call it how it is."

A fan responded to his rant by writing to the producer, "Akon said he believes Michael is in hiding and will be coming back one day. Im curious to know what ya think bout that." In response, Riley shared that he isn't the only one who believes that MJ's death was faked. "Akon is my friend and we think alike," he tweeted.

Flooded with responses claiming that he was off his rocker, Riley reiterated that it was "a belief" of his. "It's what I can believe in my heart," he wrote. "I don't play ... I take life serious."

'Michael,' featuring production from Riley, Rodney Jerkins and will.i.am, is set for release Dec. 14. The previously unreleased music video to MJ's 2003 track 'One More Chance' surfaced online recently. It is featured on his new music video box set, 'Michael Jackson's Vision.'

this game thats been going on for 2 years seems to be for money once again for all of them!! the death hoax has really been painful and seems alot of people including the family wants us to really believe he might be alive?? eventhough they say hes gone!!! when I heard about the holograms of michael it made me think he may never come back .. to much money being gone!! Im not spending a dime on vegas fakes or anything new!!! but I do hope he COMES BACK to us!! still have alittle hope he will to make a point!!! we miss him very bad and the entertainment business is so boring with him gone!!!! these tributes are also to make more money for their declining careers and sales! ..anyone ever wonder if michael might be in sun ciry south africa???

I have thought from the very beginning that possibly Michael Jackson faked his death. As with Elvis, it would have been the perfect career move.

I do believe Jim Morrison faked his death, because he told many people for years he would. Plus he was definitely going to prison in Florida for gross indecency on stage.

A video documentary on Elvis faking his own death is completely convincing.

Lots of people fake their deaths. Abbie Hoffman, the radical youth leader, did it in 1974 but was caught in 1980.

It's not only possible, but probable. Why do people assume it's just some spur of the moment thing, like he up and left randomly? Michael was a perfectionist, meticulously planned everything. You know and I know he loved his kids more than anything. For sure his kids know whether he's dead or alive, it's really none of our business. It's his life people!

Michael's death is still hard for alot of us to accept, even after all of the time that has passed. It's been almost a year and a half in December. If fans and friends feel this way, think how his family must feel. That is what makes me beleive he CANNOT be alive. He would NEVER just take off and go into hiding and leave his children behind and devestated like that. I don't think he would do that to his mother either. Especially at her age. You can still see the pain of loss in her eyes when she talks about him. It would hurt even more to see him suffer the consequences of pulling a stunt. After all the mean things people said about him before, (and some still do), the media would eat him alive after faking his own death, not to mention I think it's against the law isn't it?
