"Everybody's just gotta keep him in their prayers, because he had two strokes and that's real dangerous," Warren G said in a recent interview -- the first real word on Nate Dogg's condition since April. "A lot of people don't come back from that. Luther Vandross did it, so hopefully Nate can do it. The game needs him. I need him."
The 'Regulator' singer is still undergoing therapy and Warren claims that he and other friends in the industry are in the process of setting up a donation website to help Nate handle the extreme medical costs associated with such poor health.
Nate Dogg's absence from the rap world is particularly notable as Dr. Dre finally preps 'Detox' for release in 2011. That record's first single, 'Kush,' features Akon tackling the role that Nate once made his own. We send our regards and wish him well. In the meantime:
