Lil Wayne's '6 Foot 7 Foot' Single From 'Tha Carter IV' Surfaces

One of the most talked about songs in recent memory, Lil Wayne's '6 Foot 7 Foot,' featuring Cory Gunz, premiered Tuesday via Funkmaster Flex. The song is the first single from Wayne's upcoming album, 'Tha Carter IV.'

Wayne referred to the bombastic track as a "monster" on "human growth hormones" in an interview on Shade 45 on Tuesday for good reason. '6'7" reunites a sober, rejuvenated Weezy with 'A Milli' producer Bangladesh, who returns with a very similar beat and vocal sample (culled from Harry Belafonte's 'Day-O').

As promised, '6'7',' which you can listen to here, is a return to form for Wayne, who goes bananas on the beat, spitting torrential, hard-hitting verses laced with innuendo, anchored with intricate wordplay. "Hopefully, it shows people where I'm at lyrically," Wayne said of his newest offering. "Better than everybody."

Though outshone by his boss, the song also serves as an introduction to Gunz -- Young Money's newest recruit. Gunz was originally featured on 'A Milli,' but later removed. "Yeah, word to my mama, I'm outta my lima Bean/Don't wanna see what that drama mean/Get some Dramamine, Llama scream/Hotter than the summer sun on a Ghana queen," Corey begins, before finishing the song with a memorable double-time flow.

'6 Foot 7 Foot' will be available for sale on iTunes beginning Wednesday. 'Tha Carter IV' will drop in stores February 2011.
