"[Hot Rod] is the first artist of G NOTE," 50 tweeted over the weekend as the rapper's 'Dance With Me' single went on sale at iTunes. "He gonna do his numbers watch."
It's still unclear who will handle distribution for the subsidiary and how it exactly fits in with 50's other recording industry ventures. He broke out of a longtime deal with Interscope Records back in August and quickly signed a strong distribution deal with EMI for G-Unit releases. Hot Rod has been affiliated with 50 Cent and G-Unit since 2006, yet his style has shifted dramatically in more of a club-pop direction recently.
