The Inspectah has tapped none other than Nas, Snoop Dogg and Bay Area legend E-40 for features on the record. He also claims he has a slew of RZA beats locked and ready to go. While he's taking his time to get the recording and tracklist right, it seems like Deck is really making a go of it in the midst of renewed interest in his Clan of '90s hardcore evangelists.
"I'm working on a new album called 'Rebellion,'" the rapper told Minnesota's City Paper in a recent interview. ['Rebellion' has] RZA tracks. I got [features from] E-40, Snoop [Dogg], Nas... I'm takin' my time, hopefully by summertime [it'll release]."
That sort of a guest list is a big about-face from Deck's last album, 2010's 'Manifesto.' That record was a low-key affair without much star power. We wish The Rebel INS the best of luck.
