Fantasia Barrino had a rough 2010, with love trouble leading her to attempt suicide, but things turned around big time today. Barrino, who released the album, 'Back to Me' last August, won the Best Female R&B Vocal Performance Grammy beating out Faith Evans, Monica, Jazmine Sullivan and Kelly Price. This marks the former 'American Idol''s first Grammy win. She has been nominated six times prior, and was also up for tonight's Best R&B Album, but lost to John Legend & the Roots who won for their joint album, 'Wake Up!' Other early notable wins include Cee Lo Green, who won his first ever Grammy in the Best Urban/Alternative Performance category. And after a ten-year hiatus, Sade won the Grammy for Best R&B Performance By a Duo or Group With Vocals for 'Soldier Of Love.'
Usher will take the stage later at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards with Justin Bieber and Jayden Smith.
