The FADER
The full feature and issue will hit newsstands on March 8, but you can head over to the magazine's website to check out some initial pictures from the piece. Particular shots find Rose curled in a chair and smooching with Khalifa while he smokes one of his ever-present joints. It's now well-known that the two are in a relationship, but that development has yet to yield a response from the mostly-quiet West. West has kept to himself about his breakup with Rose and even famously issued her a gag order to stop discussion of their relationship and any aspects of the music he produced while she was around.
After the photos began to surface, West hit Twitter with a cryptic message, though. "Exes never change," he wrote. It's still unclear what exactly he's saying with this, but the timing seems to imply that the cuddly Rose set-off Ye's opinionated Macbook.
Photographer Ross Mantle also provided some insight to his shoots and how Khalifa is changing after finally blowing up. "He's pretty down to earth," he said. "I don't know if he's going to get a head about him later on, but he has a bit of a young ego. I think to be in the position he's in you have to have something like that to begin with."
Wiz Khalifa's 'Rolling Papers' drops March 29. In the meantime, check out our in-depth look at Khalifa below.
