Wiz is nominated for the Woodie of the Year award, which honors the year's best artist, for his smash single 'Black and Yellow.' Following their debut TV performance on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' Odd Future, which consists of Tyler The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt and eight others, will still grace the stage despite not receiving a nomination in any of this year's categories. Additional performers will be announced in the next few weeks.
MTVU has also revealed the first wave of presenters; Lupe Fiasco, Chiddy Bang, Skylar Grey, Dev, Liz Lee and Matt and Kim will hand out awards. Lupe isn't nominated for an award this year, but Chiddy Bang's 'Opposite of Adults' is up for Best Video Woodie, where they go head-to-head with clips from Black Keys, Duck Sauce, Gorillaz and Vampire Weekend.
The ceremony is set to take place this month during the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas and will be broadcast live as the event unfolds.
