Kid Cudi & Wale Collaborating on New Song

Less than a week ago, Kid Cudi and Wale put an end to their much-publicized beef via Twitter, and today comes the news that the two are already collaborating on a new track together.

Cudi announced the collaboration on Friday (Mar. 4) -- via Twitter, of course -- that he was whipping up a new song with the D.C. rapper. "Its wild but me and @wale already got a new jam ... right back to the programage."

The two rappers, who have previously toured and performed together, had a blowout last year, when Cudi took offense to one particular line in the Wale freestyle 'Thank You.' Wale brushed it off as a "just a rap" and promised that there was "no malice out of it." But Cudi thought otherwise.

During his October/November cover interview for Complex, the G.O.O.D. Music signee released a tirade of insults at Wale, which lit the blogosphere on fire. "It wasn't a shot," the Cudder responded. "It's just a simple-a-- rhyme by a simple-a-- rapper." Cudi, in so many words, revealed that his friendship with Wale was over. "I started making changes in my life and started to realize positive energy around me," he told Complex, "and he never really had a good energy... He always acts like he's bigger than what he is, and I don't f--- with that at all ... "

Though it was reported that the two patched up their friendship soon after, Cudi was the first to make it public on Feb. 28, telling fans via Twitter, "It's never too late to make things right." At first, Wale thought Cudi was kidding. "I called him first and he hung up on me cuz he thought someone was f---ing around haha," Cudi revealed. Given all the drama, a collaboration would be interesting at this point in their friendship.
