Brooklyn rapper Fabolous has been tapped to headline a major music festival in Ghana, Africa.

Due to the success his 2009 'My Time' single with Jeremih, a huge hit in the West African country, Fabolous has been chosen to top the event, being held at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre on April 7. He will be joined by acts from across Nigeria and Ghana. Fab reportedly has a large fan base in Ghana, and while the rest of the artists have yet to be announced, the event is already being billed as "a concert of a lifetime" by local news portals.

In other news, it has been revealed that Fab will be collaborating with singer Ne-Yo on a 'Best of Both Worlds'-style album, in stores soon. "I'm actually working on a new album as we speak," Ne-Yo told MTV. "This next album is more about just listening to the music, vibing out, determine your own adventure, back to what it is I normally do. Be looking for that around September."

Fab's long-delayed new album, 'Carlito's Way 2: Rise to Power' is rumored to be in stores shortly. Last month he released a the video for 'Wolves in Sheep Clothing,' a cut off his 'The S.O.U.L. Tape.' The mixtape was set to drop last month, but still has not surfaced.
