Watch 50 Cent's 'Things Fall Apart' Movie Trailer

A two-minute trailer for 'Things Fall Apart' -- the movie rapper 50 Cent shed a reported 54 lbs for -- has surfaced on the 'Net. 50's film had its world premiere over the weekend at the Miami International Film Festival, where "the crowd loved his movie," according to one report.

In the flick, written by 50 and loosely based on the life of his childhood best friend, the rapper-turned-actor goes from being a dread-locked NFL hopeful to an emaciated cancer victim. Being pegged as the "most critically acclaimed role of 50's career," the film also stars Ray Liotta and the film's director Mario Van Peebles.

Watch the "unofficial" preview for the film after the jump. But don't expect to hear a 50 Cent song playing in the background just yet. The sneak peek features Nelly's 'Just a Dream.'
