The group project is called '80 Blocks From Tiffany's,' a nod to the legendary New York street gang documentary, and is heavily influenced by the '70s and '80s Bronx gang lifestyle.
In anticipation of the '80 Blocks from Tiffany's' album, Camp Lo and Pete Rock will be releasing a "warm up mixtape" on March 22, which will be followed by their full-length album later this summer. The long overdue collaboration first took place in 2009, when Camp Lo enlisted Pete Rock on their 'On Smash' single with D-Block's Styles P.
While details regarding the features and label are still sparse, several tracks from the album have leaked this far, and can be heard here and here.
