Lil Wayne Hit With $5.6 Million Tax Lien From IRS

It looks like Lil Wayne is in trouble with the government yet again. Though the Young Money boss recently paid off a $1.13 million tax lien in Dade County, Fla., in November 2010, he has reportedly been hit with another IRS bill, this time for a whopping $5,610,034.00.

The IRS has been hounding Wayne for unpaid income taxes for years, filing a lien against the rapper back in 2008, going after his One Family Foundation charity in June 2010, for the years 2004, 2005 and 2007. Now the government is seeking over $5.6 million for income earned during the years 2008 and 2009.

According to the new lien, Wayne owes $3,335,077.95 for revenue earned in the year 2008, and $2,258,956.04 for 2009. The address listed on the lien, which can be viewed here, is Weezy's $12.9 million, 15,101 square foot mansion, on a private Miami island, which is apparently for sale.

Wayne is currently listed as a self-employed small business owner. His long awaited new album, 'Tha Carter IV' hits stores on May 16.

And by the way, I love lil wayne...he is very talented! I think they are picking on him just because of his celebrity status. I think the IRS should handle his problems quietly just like they do the non celebrities...its not right that everyone knows their business...He is very talented and will be able to pay this back, no doubt

Sotty, Lil Wayne is NOT talented. He is about as talented as the off-ramp niggger who held his new job down for about three days. Throw a bunch of money at a porch monkey and they get high on drugs and booze because they are not enough of a man to take life without tripping and tuning out. Thats crazy, I am white and I dont hate black people. Quit acting like white people are the only ones that show hate and are racist. It comes in all colors! Guys your responses are crazy! Yes Little Wayne hasn't paid his taxes, but he hasn't robbed poor and innocent people of their retirements like Bernie Madoff. The IRS will get theirs in the long run. Our comments should stick to him being an iddiot, versus the "race issue", and I agree he could pull up his pants.
