Equipped with road flares, flashing red lights, an army of extras and a smoldering set, the rapper -- sporting a new red mohawk -- described the shoot as a "real rebel scene," held together by director Parris, who previously shot Rick Ross' 'Blowing Money Fast' clip.
"I was over there in a bunch of dirt with rocks, and behind the gate were a bunch of guys I couldn't see, looking all menacing and scary and [with] bats and sticks and poles," Game told MTV. "And that was kinda crazy, man. I was in sort of like an army fatigue thing, doing my thing. But it was fun, man, the first shot -- had a lot of fun, got real sweaty 'cause I was jumping around, man. A lotta dust and smoke -- it was crazy man."
The lead single from his long-delayed 'The R.E.D. Album,' 'Red Nation' features a guest appearance by Lil Wayne and production by Cool & Dre, who flipped a slowed down sample of Zombie Nation's jock-club classic 'Kernkraft 400' to create the beat.
"I haven't done a video this dark since 'How We Do.' But it's looking crazy," Game told Rap-Up TV. "The first scene I was in army fatigues and had a bunch of lunatics behind a gate going crazy, and I was kinda giving it up in the dirt."
Game's 'The R.E.D. Album,' though still unfinished, will finally hit stores this summer.
