"Me and [Lil] Wayne, man. I talk to him, but I'm cool with Birdman," Soulja Boy said of the Cash Money boss, while discussing his latest mixtape, 'Juice,' a tribute to the classic Tupac Shakur film. "When I'm in Miami I be with Birdman. He's trying to get me to come over to Cash Money. I'm cool with Birdman."
Soulja Boy, who has a history of making big claims (remember when he was producing for Kanye West?), continued to describe Baby's attempts to entice him out of his Interscope contract.
"When I was down in Miami for a couple of weeks recording with Sean Kingston, Birdman reached out to me. He said 'come and have a meeting with me' and he told me, 'Yo man you'd go perfect with everything we got going on. Whatever you want. I want to bring you over to this family, bring you to Cash Money.'"
As the world waits to see if Soulja Boy joins the ranks of Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and co., the 20-year-old MC is wrapping up a 45-minute mini-movie for his 'Juice' mixtape, which he plans to debut on BET later this year.
"BET is going to premiere it and its going to come with like three music videos off of the mixtape," Soulja Boy said. "It's going to be a movie that I want people to check it out."
Soulja Boy's 'Juice' mixtape was released on Wednesday (April 20), and is available for free download here.
