In the latest issue of Vibe magazine, the 35-year-old is setting the record straight about relationships with Ciara, and the most recent media storm caused after he linked with comedian Chelsea Handler. The duo was continuously spotted out together, and were said to be in talks to work on a project together, but their public companionship seems to have fizzled in recent months.
"I don't speak to her as much as I did," he told Vibe. The Queens MC also slammed reports that the E! star turned away his gifts. "Chelsea is wealthy," he revealed. "What gift can't she buy? That was an assumption to write that. That was an easy shot to say she can buy her own gifts.
"Chelsea is confident. I think confidence is the sexiest thing about a person. She's the kind of person that if you're blessed with the opportunity to hang out with her, you'll enjoy it. I'm not sure you'll look at her and actually want to jump over the table and f--- her, but you might. You would leave after talking with her feeling that she is a cool person."
As for Ciara, 50 maintains that they too are friends. Their rumored relationship has been on-and-off for years, starting when the two appeared topless in the singer's 'I Can't Leave 'Em Alone' video. "She's a friend," the 'Before I Self Destruct' creator said. "She's been a friend. You know? And it's like, I don't know what to expect of people. I've been surprised a lot. You think you know what to expect out of people but ... I don't know how I respond to that without being the bad guy."
Another mysterious section of 50's life is his forthcoming 'Black Magic' album. After posting to his Twitter page that his first single would drop last week, 50 has since scratched that idea, and is now working with his label, Interscope Records, to put out an official release.
