In newly released photos from the set, Cannon can be seen rocking Hammer's signature parachute pants as he recreates a scene from 'U Can't Touch This.' For his Jackson impersonation, he dons a Jheri curl wig and a sequin outfit.
Cannon, who began his career in comedy, has a thing for spoofs. Last year he tried his hand at a Slick Rick impersonation for his remake of the 1988 classic 'Children's Story.'
Of the many ventures that the 30-year-old has his hands in, Cannon has been less successful as a musician. His 2003 self-titled debut sold only 275,000 copies worldwide, but spawned the moderately successful single 'Gigalo,' which peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts.
'Famous' will appear on Cannon's forthcoming rap album and acts as the theme song to his comedy special, which premiers on Showtime May 14.
