Chuck D Says Rappers Should Support Obama, Diss Trump

Between proving his official citizenship, publicly trouncing Donald Trump and announcing the death of Osama Bin Laden, President Barack Obama has had a triumphant week.

However, Public Enemy frontman Chuck D, still feels like his fellow MCs should have been a little more vocal in their support of the president back when Trump first made his allegations regarding Obama's place of birth.

"If rappers are so bold like they used to be there would be like 10 diss records for Donald Trump right now," Mista Chuck told Vibe magazine. "But the average rapper is afraid because they don't know if Trump will have money for them one day. Money has brought their fear out. There are supposed to be 20 cats lined up cursing Trump the f--- out. This is supposed to be hip-hop, right?"

Chuck continued to chastise the rest of the hip-hop community for their lack of faith in the president, whom they helped to elect.

"President Obama is going to make a lot of moves that will make you go OMG and WTF, but this is the President of the United States," Chuck said. "So whatever little move that he can make for you, you got to fight for it. This whole thing with Donald Trump... he's on some bulls---. Someone needs to say, 'Yo, Donald Trump... you full of s--- and I'm going to seriously f-- you up.' That's what the rap community used to do, but now nobody can make that statement because everybody feels politically in debt."

Meanwhile, Obama had some words of his own for Donald Trump, whom he thoroughly punked during his speech at the White House Correspondents' dinner on April 30.

"I know that he's taken some flack recently, but no one is happier, no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald," Obama joked. "And that's because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that really matter. Like did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?"

Obama's approval rating is expected to soar, following the weekend's events.

Black men rappers and black men will do nothing that will make them question being with white women and taking the white mans money to put each other down in violent ways and trashing their women. They wouldn't have hesitated a bit if they were asked to tear down black women. The white man got them just where he wants them, a slave he can silence, control with a few dimes and his toss off ho's.
